The process of making Policy for the youth in Vojvodina

The process of making Policy for the youth in Vojvodina, along with the Action plan for its realization, was started in 2002 and it has been successfully continued in the period between 2005 and 2008, after its accepting at the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina each year prepared a part of its fund for the implementation of the Policy.

 

The action politics plan for the youth was the first document in the Republic of Serbia that was for the youth and as such it provided further development of the youth policy in all Serbia. In the course of eight years, from 2002 up to today, many circumstances have changed: in 2008 the National strategy for the youth was accepted, many local and regional offices for the youth were open, many Local action plans for the youth were accepted; in 2005 a possibility for getting direct support from the European Commission and the programs “The Youth 2000-2006“ and “The Youth in the Action 2007 - 2013“ was provided.

 

During all these changes, The Action Politics Plan in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina 2005-2008 was a process that was ongoing and that continued with its realization, concerning also the new circumstances as much as possible.

 

The project “Making The Action Politics Plan for the Youth in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in the period between 2010 and 2014“ has the aim of preparing and presenting to the people in charge, The Action Politics Plan for the Youth in the Autonomous Province of  Vojvodina in the period between 2010 and 2014. In cooperation with the Provincial Secretariat for sport and the youth and other Secretariats, institutions and organizations, the project follows the public debate, implements suggestions and helps to form the final suggested document of The Action Politics Plan for the Youth in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in the period between 2010 and 2014.

 

In the course of realization of the project, a special care will be taken of the process of joining the European Union and the steps that would take Vojvodina on that road in the fields interesting for the youth. Working meetings will be organized within the project, participation in public debates organized by the Provincial Secretariat for sport and the youth will be taken, working version of a document will be made and the Secretariat will be supported in formulating the final version of the document, the cooperation with institutions and organizations of the youth and for the youth will be widened. Within the project a visit of the representatives of the National agency for European educative programs and mobility of the Republic of Macedonia will be organized. The aim of this visit is to share experiences in using the program of the European Union that is for the youth and circumstances that are supposed to be fulfilled so that these programs could be used.

 

The realization of the project itself will be to great extent participative and open, while the most important result of the project is a functional, realistic, exemplary and possible document “Action Politics Plan for the Youth in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in the Period between 2010 and 2014“, that would be accepted until the end of 2010 at the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. During the realization, the project will make a full cooperation with the Provincial Secretariat for sport and the youth.

 

“Environment Engineering Group“ was given this important process in charge. In order to successfully realize the process, active and expert young people were engaged in it. These young people can contribute significantly in every part of the project. All these people are gathered in the team of the project on which they will work together in 2010.
