Making Local Action Plan for Politics for the Youth of the city of Novi Sad

On September 3, 2009 the city’s Council of Novi Sad accepted Information on necessity of making a local action plan for politics for the youth of the city of Novi Sad and put the City Administration for sport and the youth to make a public call to organizations and associations of the youth, pupils’ and students’ parliaments, institutions and organizations that have programs for the youth, but also to interested groups and people aged between 14 and 30, to take participation in making a local action plan for politics for the youth of the city of Novi Sad.

After the deadline for applying, the major of the city of Novi Sad made and named a Commission for making a local action plan for politics for the youth of the city of Novi Sad. The members of the Commission are the representatives of the highest ranks of the City Administration and young people that showed interest for participation in this important process and applied through the public call. The representatives of thirty organizations of the youth and for the youth, six secondary schools, three students’ organizations, eight institutions, as well as young people who are socially active in some other way.

The commission consists of 134 members divided into 11 working groups:

  1. Education of the youth
  2. Employment of the youth
  3. Health of the youth
  4. Culture
  5. Free time of the youth
  6. Safeness of the youth
  7. Active inclusion of the youth in the society and in making a civil society
  8. Volunteering
  9. Mobility and informing the youth
  10. Environment protection and sustainable development
  11. Social politics for the youth

In each working group there are: a representative of a group – a member of the City Administration, a representative deputy of a working group – the head of the City Administration, a coordinator of a working group – a representative of a youth organization, a deputy of a coordinator of a working group – a representative of a youth organization, members – people who applied through the public call.

The coordination of the working group for environment protection and sustainable development was given to “Environmet Engineering Group” and Mr. Igor Jezdimirović.
