A preparatory meeting for the project “Who Will Remember Me 3?” was held

 In a snowy area near the town of Gornji Milanovac, precisely in the town of Koštunići, a preparatory meeting for the international youth project "Who will remember me 3 ?" was successfully held between the 5th and the 7th of March 2010. This is the third, consecutive year that this project is being organized by "Environment engineering Group" together with partners from Europe.

 

This year, the partners of the project will be: “Ecolution” from Portugal, “Volunteer center Skopje” from Macedonia, Youth Center "Derbent" from Bosnia and Herzegovina, “Green Federation GAJA” from Poland, “Active Youth” from Malta, “Students organization – Arad” from Romania and “Organization for Democratic Prosperity – ZID” from Montenegro. The host of the project is "Environment engineering Group". With the support of  “Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Gornji Milanovac” and  “Youth Red Cross of Gornji Milanovac”, the host will try to make sure that the guests have nice memories of their stay in Serbia and that they want to come to Serbia again.

 

The following youth leaders of the participating organizations were in the preparatory meeting:

Tiago Silva – “Ecolution” - Portugal

Milan Mirković and Igor Jezdimirović - "Environment engineering Group" - Serbia

The representative of “Green Federation Gaja” from Poland was not in the meeting due to justified reasons, but this representative will actively participate in all other activities planned in the project.

 

In friendly, but working atmosphere in the meeting, all details and the way of mutual work on the project were agreed about. 

The basic activity of the project will be the youth exchange devoted to the protection of endangered species and biodiversity. Each partner of this youth exchange will be represented by four youth activities and one youth leader. The youth exchange will be realized between the 25th of April and 3rd of May 2010 in the eco-ethno complex "Uspomena" (“Memories”) in the town of Koštunići. 

 

After the youth exchange, the joint publication "Who will remember me 3?" will be published and afterwards promoted in the countries of the participants on the info day on endangered species and biodiversity.

 

This project is a follow-up of three-year activities on the protection of endangered species. The publications from the previous projects are available in the section “Publications”.
